These terms apply to the Myanmar Market Price mobile app (“MMP”, “the app”) and to this website. The app is published by MEGA ACE LLC (“we”, “us”).
By using the app you accept these terms. If you register an account, you are asked to accept them explicitly. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app.
1. What MMP provides
MMP shows market prices used in Myanmar: gold (Myanmar gold, Thai gold, and the world gold price), foreign currency exchange rates, and petrol prices by region and fuel type. It also includes a currency converter, price history charts, and a watchlist.
Most prices are collected from market sources and entered by our team. The world gold price is taken from a third-party market data provider. We publish prices as frequently as the market and our sources allow.
2. Prices are information, not advice
This is the most important part of these terms.
- Every price in MMP is indicative market information. It is a reference, not a quotation, and not an offer to buy or sell anything.
- Prices can be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. They can change between the moment we publish and the moment you read them, and they can differ from the price any particular shop, dealer, or bank will give you.
- MMP is not financial, investment, tax, or trading advice. We are not a licensed financial adviser, dealer, or broker, and nothing in the app is a recommendation to make any transaction.
- Before you buy or sell anything, confirm the price with the party you are dealing with. Do not rely on MMP as your only source.
We make no promise that any price shown is accurate, current, or complete, and we are not responsible for any decision you make based on it.
3. Accounts
- You can read prices without an account, as a guest.
- An account lets your watchlist follow you across devices and is required for a Pro subscription. You may sign in with an email address and password or with Google Sign-In.
- Give us a real email address you control. Some features, including Pro features and watchlist sync, require a verified email address.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in details private. Tell us promptly if you think someone else is using it.
- One person, one account. Do not create accounts to evade free-plan limits.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, attacks the service, or is used fraudulently.
4. Free plan, ads, and Pro
The app has a free plan and a paid Pro plan.
- The free plan gives full access to all current prices and the Converter, one week of price history, a limited number of watchlist items, and shows advertising.
- Pro removes all advertising and adds longer price history (1 month, 6 months, 1 year) and an unlimited watchlist.
- Advertising in the free plan is what pays for the service. Ads are supplied by Google AdMob and are subject to the consent choices described in our Privacy Policy.
- Free-plan limits, including the number of watchlist items, may change. If we reduce a limit, items you already have are not removed.
5. Subscription terms
Pro is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on your device. We do not bill you directly and we never see your payment details.
- Plans. A monthly plan and an annual plan are offered. The price, billing period, and any free trial for your country are shown in the app before you buy, and are set by the store.
- Free trial. Where a free trial is offered, it is available to new subscribers only. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription begins and the first payment is taken.
- Auto-renewal. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, and your store account is charged, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Cancelling. Cancel in your store account: on iOS, Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android, the Play Store app → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next charge; Pro stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Deleting your MMP account does not cancel your subscription, because the subscription belongs to your Apple or Google account, not to us. Cancel it in the store as well.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies. We cannot issue a refund for a store purchase.
- Price changes are made through the store, which will notify you as its rules require. Continuing the subscription after a change means accepting the new price.
- Restoring a purchase. After reinstalling or changing device, use Settings → Account → Restore Purchases. A subscription can only be active on one MMP account at a time; restoring moves it to the account you are signed in to.
6. Acceptable use
Please do not:
- copy, scrape, or bulk-extract prices from the app or our API, whether by hand or by automated means;
- republish, resell, or redistribute our price data as your own product or service;
- use our API outside the app, or with credentials taken out of the app;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app, except where the law expressly allows it;
- work around plan limits, advertising, or payment;
- interfere with the service, overload it, or attempt to gain access to parts of it that are not yours;
- use the app for anything unlawful.
Personal, non-commercial use of the prices you see — including quoting a price to someone — is fine. Building a product on top of our data is not.
7. Ownership
The app, this website, their design, text, logos, and software belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you permission to use the app; they do not transfer any ownership. The underlying market prices are facts and belong to nobody, but our compilation and presentation of them are ours.
8. Availability and changes
We try to keep MMP available and accurate, but we provide it as a free-to-use service and cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may change, suspend, add, or remove features; change how prices are sourced or how often they update; or stop offering the app. Where a change materially reduces what a paying subscriber gets, we will give reasonable notice in the app.
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the app after a change means accepting the updated terms.
9. Ending the agreement
You may stop using MMP at any time, delete your account (see Delete Account), and uninstall the app. We may end your access if you break these terms. Sections 2, 7, 10, and 11 continue to apply after your account is closed.
10. No warranty
MMP is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranties to be excluded, in which case the exclusions above apply only as far as the law permits.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows:
- We are not liable for any trading, investment, or purchase loss, lost profit, lost opportunity, or lost data arising from your use of MMP or from any price shown in it.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
- Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the subscription in the 12 months before the claim arose, or, if you paid nothing, to nothing.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
12. Third-party services
The app relies on services operated by others: Apple, Google (including Firebase, AdMob, and Google Play), and RevenueCat. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms. Links from the app to outside websites are provided for convenience; we do not control their content.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the place where MEGA ACE LLC is registered, and any dispute about them is dealt with by the courts there. This does not remove any right you have as a consumer under the law of your own country, and it does not replace the rules Apple or Google apply to a purchase made through their stores.
